At Christopher DiCas Haute Parfumerie, safety is inseparable from creation.
Every extrait de parfum is conceived, assessed, and manufactured in accordance with the highest European standards to ensure an experience that is both exceptional and uncompromisingly safe.
We kindly invite our clientele to observe the following guidance.
1. THE NATURE OF THE CREATION
Our creations are highly concentrated Extraits de Parfum, composed of fine fragrance ingredients, precious natural materials, and cosmetic-grade alcohol.
They are intended exclusively for external use.
To preserve their olfactory integrity, store each creation in a cool, dry place, protected from direct sunlight, excessive humidity, and sources of heat.
As with all alcohol-based fine fragrances, our creations are flammable until dry. Do not spray near open flames, sparks, heat sources, or while smoking.
2. RITUAL OF APPLICATION & CARE
For external use only.
Avoid contact with:
-
eyes;
-
mucous membranes;
-
broken or irritated skin; and
-
hypersensitive skin.
Do not ingest.
Apply to clean, dry skin at the pulse points from a respectful distance, allowing the extrait to settle naturally.
Avoid rubbing after application, as this may alter the fragrance’s intended development.
Some naturally derived fragrance ingredients may increase sensitivity to sunlight. As a precaution, avoid prolonged exposure to intense sunlight or artificial UV radiation immediately after application on exposed skin.
To help preserve delicate fabrics, allow the fragrance to dry completely before contact with clothing or jewellery.
3. ALLERGY & INDIVIDUAL SENSITIVITY
Each creation undergoes an independent cosmetic safety assessment prior to being placed on the European market.
Nevertheless, individual sensitivities to fragrance ingredients may occur.
If you have known skin sensitivities or fragrance allergies, we recommend performing a patch test by applying a small quantity to the inside of the forearm or wrist and waiting twenty-four (24) hours before regular use.
If irritation, redness, discomfort, or any unexpected reaction occurs, discontinue use immediately and seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
In accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009, as amended by Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/1545, all fragrance allergens required by law are declared on the product packaging where applicable.
4. STORAGE & CHILD SAFETY
Store the product:

upright;
-
in its original packaging whenever possible; and
-
out of the reach of children and pets.
Our creations are intended exclusively for adult consumers and are not designed or marketed for use by children.
5. OUR COMMITMENT TO REGULATORY EXCELLENCE
Christopher DiCas Haute Parfumerie fully complies with the applicable legislation of Greece and the European Union governing cosmetic products.
a. Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009 on Cosmetic Products
Each creation:

has an appointed Responsible Person established within the European Union;
-
is supported by a complete Product Information File (PIF);
-
is manufactured in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (ISO 22716);
-
undergoes an independent Cosmetic Product Safety Report (CPSR) prepared by a suitably qualified safety assessor;
-
is evaluated for skin compatibility and toxicological safety;
-
complies with the expanded fragrance allergen disclosure requirements introduced by Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/1545;
-
undergoes stability and packaging compatibility testing; and
-
conforms to the applicable standards of the International Fragrance Association (IFRA).
b. Regulation (EU) 2023/988 — General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR)
Every batch is subject to documented traceability, risk assessment, corrective action procedures, and cosmetovigilance monitoring in accordance with the General Product Safety Regulation.
c. REACH & CLP
All relevant ingredients comply with:

Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 (REACH); and
-
Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 (CLP),
where applicable to cosmetic products.
d. Regulatory Notification & Traceability
Before being placed on the European market, each cosmetic product is notified through the Cosmetic Products Notification Portal (CPNP) in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009.
Where required by applicable Greek legislation, regulatory information is maintained for the competent authorities, including the National Organization for Medicines (EOF).
Every product bears a unique batch code to ensure complete traceability throughout its lifecycle.
6. COSMETOVIGILANCE & PRODUCT SAFETY
Christopher DiCas Haute Parfumerie operates a continuous cosmetovigilance system to monitor the safety of its creations after they have been placed on the market.
Should any undesirable effect be reported, appropriate investigation, documentation, and regulatory notification will be undertaken where required by applicable European legislation.
